Is it possible to use GTK Look And Feel?

I'm using yEd on Ubuntu 12.10. It has great features, but it doesn't only look ugly, the fonts in the menu are very hard to read, too (small and no antialising).

Is it somehow possible to improve the look and feel under Ubuntu, to make it more look like GTK+?

This works great, thank you! If your fonts look wonky and bold after applying the GTK Look and Feel theme you will have to apply the workaround posted in comment #17 of this thread: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openjdk-7/+bug/937200 .

This problems seems to be restricted to Oracles Java 1.7.
