Undirected graph from adjacent matrix

0 votes
Hi,

I am looking to make an undirected graph from an adjacent matrix in excel. Or an undirected graph anyway, I cant seem to find a way to make a line without an arrow. Now with my matrix it makes two arrowed lines between two people, this makes no sense since it is about who has met whom, obviously if person a has met person b, person b has met person a. I just want a line connecting them.

My second question is if it is possible to export a ordered list of the centrality. I just want to be able to measure which node has most lines (has most connections in this case) and view it as a list. Is this possible?

Thanks!

Well, either select an edge template without lines (e.g. the very first template in palette section "Edge Types") as the default edge style (double-click the corresponding edge template in its palette section) and create edges without arrows right from the start or remove arrows by selecting the edge(s) in question and setting the "Source Arrow" and "Target Arrow" properties to plain lines.

Well, I guess your matrix is symmetric. Either adjust your matrix accordingly or simply remove the duplicate edges afterwards. This can be easily done using "Tools" -> "Select Elements". Make sure "Use these Criteria" is selected for tab "Edges" only. Moreover, choose "Duplicate Undiected Edges" for setting "Select" and click "Ok".

No, unfortunately this is currently not possible.
