Can I replace nodes globally at once?

I started my graph with shape nodes but I just discovered that I really wanted to use modern nodes.  Is there a way to replace all the shape nodes with modern nodes at once while keeping the properties intact?

Yes. Select the nodes you want to change, then go to the symbol in the Palette you want to change the nodes to, and choose the command "Apply Type" from its context menu (right mouse click in the symbol).
