Cover arrows with node

Is there any way for a node to cover an arrow. When I create a new node on top of an arrow's line, the line still shows regardless of me setting colors for the node.

You can change the rendering order of nodes and edges in yEd's preferences. Please see "File" -> "Preferences", tab "Display", option "Paint Nodes over Edges".
