Edge grouping?

Sometimes I have a parent node and then many child nodes, like a sublist. So I want all (or some) the edges from the parent to go together as one, and then split one by one where I point them. That way I could, for example, re-create the output of tree command.

yEd's hierarchical layout and orthogonal edge routing algorithms support this feature. To specify which edges to group use "Tools" -> "Constraints" -> "Edge Grouping" before running one of the aforementioned algorithms.
