How to use octilinear edge in orthogonal layout & partial layouter

I like the octilinear-routing edges in the hierarchic layout. Is this option available in orthogonal layout and partial layouter? I can't find it.

Unfortunately neither orthogonal layout nor partial layout support octilinear edge routing.

However, "Layout" -> "Edge Routing" -> "Orthogonal/Polyline" does support octilinear edge routing. Thus you can first arrange your graph with orthogonal layout or partial layout and afterwards re-route your edges using "Orthogonal/Polyline".
