How to make the connector lines attach at the edges of shapes?

Question

When I create the connector lines between two shapes, they always connect at the center points.  I want them to connect at the edges of the shapes where I start drawing them.

The reason for this is that sometimes they look funny when connected at the centers when the shapes are short and wide.

Either press and hold SHIFT prior to and during edge creation or select an existing edge and adjust its "Source Port X", "Source Port Y", "Target Port X", and "Target Port Y" properties in the properties view in yEd's lower right corner.
