How to upload files to yEd Q&A?

  1. When writing a new question or an answer to a question, select some text. (The selected text will later serve as download link for the uploaded file.


     
  2. Click the "Link" button in the toolbar.


     
  3. Choose "Browse" from the Link dialog's "Upload" tab to select the file you want to upload and click "Send it to the Server".


     
  4. Clicking "Send it to the Server" will switch to the dialog's "Link Info" tab. Click "Ok" to link to the uploaded file.


     
  5. That's it. If everything worked as intended, the selected text in your post is now a download link.
