GEDCOM import from MyHeritage FamilyTreeBuilder fails

0 votes

I'm using MyHeritage FamilyTreeBuilder to build my family trees. When exporting the trees as a GEDCOM file and importing it to yED the import fails at line 20. I have found that this is the PUBLISH statement in the file. When deleting the PUBLISH and the subsequent two lines the import works fine.

Is this an error of the FamilyTreeBuilder or is ti the yED import that has a quirk?

I include the first part of a GEDCOM export with the three lines I delete in boldface italics.

I think this is an error of FamilyTreeBuilder. According to the GEDCOM specification, there has to be exactly one blank between the level number and the following reference or tag name. In the case of
0  _PUBLISH
there are two blanks between '0' and '_PUBLISH'.
