Just downloaded yEd 3.9.2 from the site and I just can't save.

Question

I had another version of yEd before (3.5.0.2) and updated to the new version.

I have openned an old file (created with the older version) an started the modification, after updating the file I tryied to save but I just can't save anymore.

Please explain what "I just can't save anymore." means. Is there no "Save" or "Save As" entry in the "File" menu? Is there no "Save" icon in yEd's toolbar? Does yEd display an error message when you are trying to save?

It means that the option to save is avaliable but it is like the file was already saved and the entry looks like a water mark.

I just solved the issue, I copied the diagram to a new file and the option to save was there.

I see. You might want to check "File" -> "Preferences", tab "General" option "Number of Steps of Undo". If that says "0" you cannot "Save" (but "Save As" should be still available. Aside from that deleting yEd's profile directory to reset yEd to its factory defaults might help. (If you have heavily configured yEd to suit your needs, moving the directory contents to another directory for later "restoration" might be a good idea in case you decide you want your old settings back.)
