linux install not working

0 votes
Hi,

I do have a problem with the file that comes for Linux installation.
Currently, I have my system running on Linux Mint Cinnamoon.

Some minutes after executing the .sh, there's an error-message (either force quit or continue waiting).
Command line says, permission is denied.

I'd be very pleased if someone can help me with this issue.

Thanks a lot in advance
Tom

Make sure you have run "chmod +x" first.

It should look something like this:
chmod -x yEd-3.19.1.1_with-JRE13_64-bit_setup.sh

Hit enter and then try to install again. I had to run it as this:

bash yEd-3.19.1.1_with-JRE13_64-bit_setup.sh

I'm running Mint Cinnamon 19.3. After I did the chmod +x I had no issues installing it.
