Is there any way to read data from SQL-Server in yEd?

Unfortunately, this is not possible with yEd.

However, the yFiles diagramming library (upon which yEd is built) does offer a high-level API for creating diagrams. Using yFiles it is possible to create custom applications that retrieve data from SQL server and create diagrams from said data.
So, if you are a software developer, it might be worth your while to take a look at yFiles.
