Are duplicate nodes automatically de-duplicated ?

0 votes
Hi,

I would like to convert classic data to a graph to better see frequenies within large datasets via the graphical properties of the edges.

The data however will contain numerous duplicate nodes, although each row
of data (containing mulitple nodes) will be unique.

Does yED automatically take care of this or must I first ensure the nodes in an Excel node list are unique before generating the edges ? This is extremely difficult compared to the turning rows of data into a list of nodes (with duplicates) and an edges list.

Many thanks,

Simon

Can you show an example/excerpt of your data that illustrates the "duplicate nodes, although each row of data (containing mulitple nodes) will be unique" property of your data?
