yEd under Linux/KDE opens file dialog behind window

Running yEd 3.19 under Kubuntu 19.04 (KDE Plasma 5.15.4) with the provided JVM (11.0.2), any time a file dialog opens (to save or open a file) it will open behind the yEd window. Alt+Tab doesn't bring it to the front, I have to go click on it with my mouse.

You can try to switch from the "Native" file chooser dialog to the "Cross-platform" file chooser dialog to prevent this problem. To do this, go to "File" -> "Preferences", tab "General" and change option "File Chooser Dialog".
