Import URL from Excel spreadsheet in URL field

Question

When importing data from Excel spreadsheet URL attribute creates another custom property instead of populating data in URL "standard" node attribute.

Would be better and more expected behaviour if standard URL field is populated instead.

Yes, indeed. On the other hand, you can use a simple Properties Mapper configuration that maps the custom URL data to the build-in URL data to do this. And the current approach has the additional benefit that the custom URL data can be mapped to other targets as for example label text as well.

Once you have created such a configuration, it is even possible to use it directly from the Excel Import dialog through the settings related to configurations.
