How to set default label position and bg color for lines?

Question

99% of the time, i always set label in the lines and i want it centered and with white BG (so the line doesn't mix with the text)

now do that 20-40 times and it gets irritating

 

is there a way to set the program's default to this?

Unfortunately, there is currently no easy way to do this in yEd.

Please see "the recommended approach for defining default settings for labels" in copy/duplicate labeltext and label format.
