Error in opening large xml files (1 MB)

0 votes

Hello,

I have large xml files (around 8 MB). I want ro generate graph (tree structure) from it.

1) When I tried to import large file (1 MB) (I selected XML+XSS in file type) I get error like "yEd has encountered the following error: java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException". Although it displays graph.

2) When I try to this displayed graph as GIF, PDF or any other format, I get an error saying "It exceeded maximum limit". So is there any way I can exceed this limit for handling large xml files ?

I look forward for your reply.

Thanks you.

Ragini

Please provide the exact error message with complete stacktrace as well as yEd's version number and the version of the Java platform you are using (both are displayed in "Help" -> "About"), otherwise it is impossible for us to discern what is happening. If possible please upload one of the problematic files (use the link option from the toolbar to do that) and provide step-by-step instructions on how to reproduce the problem.
