Reducing duplication of nodes

0 votes

I have a flow chart where certain paths have duplicate nodes and then split off again. For example, one step that all share could be "email the back-office team", but then, each activity might split off again along a different path. At the moment I have  duplicated the "email the back-office team" nodes, but this seems a bit messy. I wondered if there was another way. I thought of maybe having different coloured/line styles in and out, or maybe labelling the incoming and outgoing lines. Is there any best practice for this?

This is not really a yEd question, but rather a "how to properly model my workflow with a flow chart" question. As such you are probably better off asking this question in a more active forum.
Sure, I wasn't really sure what forums there are for workflows.

Unfortunately, I do not know either. sad
