Paint nodes over edges

Hi,

So I know that in the GUI Yed graph editor, there's an option under Preferences -> Display -> Paint Nodes over edges to make it so that all nodes appear above the edges. However, I'm implementing both the Java API as well as the GraphML viewer for Web (The flash thing). Is there anyway to set this option in those two features?
