Change the edge type while creating it

Hi,

Is it possible to change the type of the edge (curve, corner, arrow ending, arrow start, ...) while dragging it to the next connection point?
My mind is deeply based on hardware design: I remember tracking wires and changing their thickness and edge type while drawing it. Something like that is what I'm looking for.

Unfortunately, no. It is currently not possible to change the edge type during edge creation. You can, however, change the edge type of existing edges. To do that, select the edge you want to change, go to the palette section with the edge type template you want to use, right-click the desired edge type template to open its context menu, and choose "Apply Type".
