zoom out and fades away

Question

After last update to 3.18.1 some icons fade away when I do a zoom out.

 

 

Does anyone have the same symptom?

On which Java runtime environment are you running yEd (see "Help" -> "About")?

I cannot reproduce this problem on our macOS 10.12.6 and 10.13.6 test machines. Are you using a HDPI display? And what kind of nodes are you using? SVG? Can you upload a GraphML file with one of the problematic nodes here?

So far I have not been able to solve this problem. I am already using another version of OS but still unsuccessful.

Now I'm using Ubuntun with Java 10.0.2 and I have the same problem.

Try running yEd on Java 8 to check if this might be a Java issue.

Turns out this is a Java problem! On our Ubuntu 16.04 test machine, this problem occurs with Java 10.0.2 but it does NOT occur with Java 8u202 or Java 11.0.2.
So, either run yEd on Java 8 or Java 11.
