Arrange my active node in center of my view & link nodes that are far away with ease

Hello,

i builded gigantic knowlegebases and now i am looking for faster software. Is it possible to navigate through the nodes and have all other nodes re-arranging around the current one ? And how can i link nodes that are far away ? Thank you for your time.

Although yEd does not offer the desired functionality, it is possible to use one of the yFiles diagramming libraries to build a custom application that supports the desired behavior. (yEd is built upon yFiles, too.)
