Is it possible to paste images from another application?

While pasting images into yEd's editor are is not supported, drag and drop is (e.g. you could drag an image file from Windows Explorer or some other file browser into yEd's editor area). Aside from that How can I use my own node symbols in yEd? explains how to use "images from other applications".
