How do I produce 3D graphs in yEd?

0 votes
I saw in one of the galleries on the website (I believe a contribution by the University of Tubingen) a 3D graph, and I would like to know how they achieved this. Do I have to download something additional? I only installed the basic yEd for Windows.

Thanks for your help!

Unfortunately, there is no way to create 3D diagrams in yEd.

If you are referring to this gallery sample,  I am afraid the graph was not created in yEd but in a short-lived research project called YEd 3D. However, yEd and YEd 3D have nothing in common aside from similar names and the fact that they are built with yFiles for Java, our commercial graph library.

Thanks for your quick reply! Does yFiles for Java still have the 3D capability? Or any other similar product by yWorks? Our project desperately needs something similar to that, and if one is available and upon testing fit our needs, we would be willing to purchase the full package. Thanks for the great graphing program!
