Yed Error when opening a document

Question

I am getting an error when opening an external file. The FAQ says to fix it by hand. Is there a way to tell the line number of the file that yED thinks there is a problem? excel can open the file. Thank  you.

Use a browser to parse the file.

Select FILE -> OPEN -> filename

The errors will be exposed.
