can crossing lines in an ERD diagram shown bended?

Unfortunately, it is not clear to me what you mean by that. Could you upload some screenshots that illustrate the problem?

Hi Thomas, The problem is that  if I draw  many entities, the lines are crossing and you cannot see which line goes from what entity to another entity anymore. In other tools crossing lines are showed at the point of crossing with a bended line (half a circle) so you can see that the line is just crossing and not a connection.

Thank you very much for the additional information.

For polyline edges, the desired visualization may be activated in "File" -> "Preferences"  on tab "Display" with settings "Bridge Style", "Bridge Scaling", and "Crossing Determination Mode".
