Layout with edge weights?

Would be really nice to be able to layout a graph that has edge weights assigned, such that edges with low weight can be longer and edges with high weights need to be shorter.

Well, more or less. The edge weight feature request applies only to organic layout whereas the concept of edge weights as formulated here applies to other algorithms as well (e.g. for some configurations, hierarchical layout works with edge weights as well).
