The Properties panel should reflect any changes "live"; not when the object is re-selected

When we edit the diagram, the change should be instantly reflected in the Properties box. 

But it does not reflect any change at all.

The changes are shown only if you unselect the object and then re-select it.

Desired: Reflect the changes in the Properties panel "live"
