I recognize that yWorks must make money to continue offering yEd for free, and that certain features for yEd would allow programmatic workflows that might otherwise require purchasing the Java library. However, I suspect many users do not need or have the ability to implement the full Java library feature set. How about a paid version of yEd that adds functionality such as defining custom property mappings and post-processers in yEd GraphML files to bridge the automation functionality gap?
