Getting a lot of graphical artifacts

0 votes
I'm getting a lot of artifacting on the UI from nodes and node labels that overlap the scroll bars and toolbars.

As I scroll the display, these artifacts accumulate until I decide to clean them up by resizing the window or minimizing/maximizing them.

I'm working on Windows 7x64 and using 2 ATI Radeon 3800 HD video cards.

We're not aware of such rendering issues. Please make sure that you're using a recent graphics driver and Java version.

I'm already using the latest graphics drivers and just installed the latest Java. It still happens, unfortunately.
I'm sorry, but I have no good idea for this problem. You can try switching to the cross-platform Look and Feel like described here http://yed.yworks.com/support/qa/47 or deleting the profile directory http://yed.yworks.com/support/qa/9/
I forgot to mention I am running Windows 7 x64 with Aero turned off.

Okay, tried the first (didn't fix anything), and then tried the second which fixed things somewhat.

When I pan the canvas around it doesn't keep adding artifacts.

Now the artifacts only show up if I resize the window or switch to another application, and it seems as though sometimes the buttons and toolbars aren't being redrawn (I see a blank space where they belong, but they are redrawn if I hover my mouse cursor over them).

It's not a huge deal for me as I've gotten this far with the glitching, and otherwise the program is very stable and it's just a cosmetic issue.

btw, yEd rocks. :D
