Default settings for node labels

Question

I want a default setting IN PREFERENCES for node label size, configuration and alignment. I know the hard way of doing this (http://yed.yworks.com/support/qa/1595/how-do-i-change-the-default-setting-for-labels) but its way too hard for me to even consider.

Changing these properties for all labels to the same value, as such a setting would do, is a simple as selecting all labels and adjusting the settings of three combo boxes. I agree that neither this nor the method linked above are the most easiest imaginable ways to achieve this, but that's how it can be done currently.

If this is too hard for you to even consider, feel free to use any other graph editor that fits your needs better.
