Is there a limit for the predecessors identification system?

Yes, there is a limit. The context views will only display graphs with at most 50 nodes and 100 edges. Unfortunately, there is currently no way to adjust/lift that restriction.
You can, however, use "Tools" -> "Select Elements" to select all predecessors of a given node. To do that, select the node in question, open the mentioned selector tool, uncheck all options safe "Use These Criteria" on the "Nodes" tab, and choose "Predecessors of Selected Nodes" as criteria.
