Structure view search box : keep field to be searched persistent

Question

In the structure view search box, when user loads a file, for example reloading an Excel import,

the text to be searched is cleared and the field to be searched resets to "text".  I would prefer that the field to be searched stays invariant.

For example, 

1. In the diagram structural view, search the Node ID field by changing the drop-down list from "Text" to "Node ID".
2. Reload the diagram
3. In the diagram structural view, search the Node ID field without having to change the field again from "Text"  to "Node ID".
