How to build an application integration map. Pointers appreciated.

Hi all, 

I hope you're all well.

I was wondering if I could be pointed in the right direction to build an example of the chart below.

As far as I can tell it's based on an excel spreadsheet that sits behind it. 

And what I'm trying to achieve is build a map of applications that talk to each other and the protocols being used but struggling to figure out the correct layout and steps to replicate the example image given above or even where to start.

It doesn't seem as straight-forward as I first hoped. If anybody could nudge me in the right direction, that'd be greatly appreciated.
