Problem dragging edges from palette to editor (since v.3.12)

Question

Since v. 3.12, I keep having problems when dragging edges from the palette into the editor (on nodes). Starting a new diagram, it usually works fine, but after some time, edges will not be dragged onto nodes anymore. Just nothing happens. No error message.

Any ideas?

I have been regularly working with yed for about 5 years now, so I do not consider to be doing something wrong here. But maybe I am wrong :-)

On what operating system are you running yEd? Which version of Java are you using (see "Help" -> "About" for this piece of information)?

Can you give an approximate number of nodes and edges after which drag and drop stops working? Of course, it would be even better if you could provide step-by-step instructions to reliably reproduce this problem.
