Unable to edit the graphml file in Windows 8.1 OS

YEd version- 3.17

Java JDK version- Java 8 Update 121 (64 bits)

Description:

I was able to edit the text in Data tab using F6 but when clicked on Apply button, the changes were reverted and seen as original data.

Please provide the solution ASAP.

Use the properties view in yEd's lower right corner instead of the properties dialog.

Which piece of data exactly were you trying to edit?
Are you able to edit that specific piece of data if you create a new diagram with only one node of the required type?
