This tool window always presents the entire graph from the active editor window. The active editor window’s current viewport is indicated using a white rectangular overlay, while the part of the graph that is outside the editor window has a gray overlay.
The following functionality is available:
- A mouse drag gesture that starts within the Overview’s white area accordingly moves the viewport of the active editor window.
- A mouse drag gesture that starts at the lower-right corner of the white rectangle accordingly scales the presentation of the graph in the active editor window.
The Overview tool window is shown by default when yEd is first opened. When the tool window has been closed, it can be re-opened using the ‘Overview’ menu entry from the ‘Windows’ menu.
