HTML Editing Control

Question

It would be great if the editing panel (F2) was more than a simple text box but actually an HTML editor control - just like the one I an writing this question in. This would make entering text with attributes such as style, color etc very much easier.

This request is long over due...I requested it a couple years ago.

This would solve many other peoples requests in a single fix.

Tables/alignment, multi-text formatting, to many benefits to mention.

or a related thing: let us users create a document by entering an URL on a local filesystem and pressing F8
