Superimpose color of intersecting shapes

0 votes
Hello,

I have two circles filled with different colors, say red and yellow. When I place these two shapes overlapping with one another, I would like the intesecting area to be of different color. For example, red and yellow combined to orange. Is it possible to achieve such an effect where colors of overlapping shapes superimpose?

Thank you!

This can be achieved by using transparent fill colors (you can freely choose the degree of transparency).

For an example, please see the venn_diagram_ps3.graphmlz example graph (under Help menu > Example Graphs > Visual Features). The circles in this diagram use transparent colors (depending on the color model it's either called 'Alpha' or 'Transparency').
