I am trying ton install Yed in my debian (8) machine using oracle jre 7 and 8 but everything I open the install it does not show the contents of main window (nothing written, just the main window without the text nor the java components. I tried the 32 and the 64 versions and have the same problem. Finally, I tried the zip file and it shows the splash screen and opens YeD but again the same problem, the main windows does not show. However, I through the keyboard shortcuts I can open the dialogues and they work properly. In all cases I get no error in the terminal.
Here are the versions of java I used:
java version "1.8.0_45"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_45-b14)
and
java version "1.7.0_80"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_80-b15)
The YeD I tried with 3.14.2_64 and 32 bits
