Zoom shortcuts doesn’t work with MacOS

In version 3.13 and 3.14 Zoom in/out with the shortcuts cmd+"+" and cmd+"-" doesn’t works. The menu becomes highlighted for a short time to give the feedback that the command was recognized – but nothing happens.

Ultimately, this seems to be a presentation shortcoming of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) on the Mac.

On Windows, the Zoom in/Zoom out keyboard short-cuts are mapped to NumPad+ and NumPad-, respectively. On the Mac, however, the 'NumPad' detail is somehow lost and instead NumPad+ is presented in the Menu as a simple "+", NumPad- as a simple "-".

Using NumPad+ or NumPad- on the Mac keyboard in combination with the Cmd key works as expected!

Thank you Thomas, but if yEd needs the NumPad-Keys why do I get the feedback in the menu which shows me, that my keystroke war recognized? Unfortunately most Macs (like my MacBook Pro) don’t have a 'NumPad'. Any solution?
Frankly, I have no idea why there is a feedback in the menu but no action...

Lacking a mouse with scroll wheel, the only solution then is to use the scroll functionality of the MBP's Trackpad to zoom in and zoom out. You can customize this in the "Preferences..." dialog ("General" tab, "Mouse Wheel Behavior").
