I never started a program manually on my imac , please give step by step instructions.

osx 10.9.4  version 2.13 opens wih blanc screen

  1. Open terminal.
  2. Enter the command given in the first answer of Blank Canvas on Mac (with /path/to/yEd.app adjusted as appropriate for your yEd installation).
