I am not sure what I did, but I am unable to see snap-lines anymore. In the preferences they seem to be set up properly. The Color is #c0c0c0, and the Node to Node, Node to Edge, and Edge to Edge values are 30, 20, and 20, and the "Consider Edge Distance when Moving Ports" is checked.
The only thing I did was change the height and width of a circle node and set some colors. Other than that I haven't changed any preferences.
