Second label linked to first label text

Question

Is it possible to have two labels of an edge linked to each other, so that if I edit one of them, the content of the other one changes, too?

Background info: I use yEd to visualise wiring schemes. On each wire I have two labels, one at each end, in which I write the wire's ID#.

Not directly, no.

What you can do is using a custom property with the wire ID and have yEd's property mapper update all the required label's accordingly. (Property mapper has to be started manually, though. There is no automatic update mechanism in yEd.)
