How can I create shapes with text in them from the text list from clipboard?

Hi,

I need to populate yed with nodes that will come from the text list that I have. Is this possible without doing this manually one by one as my list is pretty big?

Thanks

You can do this by converting your text file to Excel format and import the Excel file into yEd using the Node List format. Please see the yEd manual for more details and a small example.

For converting the file to Excel, I propose to rename its extension to .csv and use the CSV import of Excel or OpenOffice/Libre Office.

Please let me know if you have further questions.
