Copy/paste image to create a node on the fly

Question

in yEd I strongly miss to paste an image from the clipboard.

 

For example you need an icon in yor drawing, you search in google/images, copy it from the FireFox and paste it into the working canvas "on the fly" just as you do in Visio, Powerpoint, etc WITHOUT having to save it as a file.

 

Don't you miss that? Votes?

No Chance!

If you try this out, the button is grey and not available! Is there a trick to enable the paste funcion?

Either drag&drop image files from e.g. Windows Explorer into yEd's editor tabs or follow the instructions in How can I use my own node symbols in yEd?.
