How do I remove white blicks in a pdf?

I have a graph that needs to be exported as a pdf.  Everytime I export it, I get white blicks where any text is.  I have tried everything and cannot remove them.  The graph itself does not have any issues, only the pdf.  Any advice?

Unfortunately, I do not understand the problem from your description. Can you post a screenshot of the PDF with the undesired "white blocks" marked in some way here?

That's ok.  The problem was the the shadow. effect.  After unchecking this option, the printout was fine.  Thanks tho:)
