Can nodes be given fields containing formula which refer to the contents of other nodes

Question

Is it possible to give a node a formula which refers to values in other nodes it is linked to (and even values given to those links)? I would like to create a network whose node values are dependent on each other and which would change over time as those other node values change. Is there any version of yEd or yWorks where this could be done? Or any other SNA software?

Unfortunately, this is not possible in yEd.

It is, however, possible to develop such an application using the yFiles programming library upon which yEd is built. If developing your own custom application is an option for you, please take a look at yFiles.
