yEd's Excel Import differentiates between IDs and arbitrary other associated data. IDs have to be unique, other associated data does not have to be unique. Thus you need to specify your labels in a column that is not the ID column and set option "Label Text" in section "Nodes" on tab "Presentation" to the name of your label column.
